Empowering Families & Nurturing Growth: Your Story Matters
Whether you're a parent seeking guidance, a child navigating everyday challenges, a teen dealing with life's transitions, or a young adult looking for support, you're not alone. Together, we'll navigate the ups and downs, finding strength in vulnerability and resilience in connection.
Individual Therapy
In individual therapy, I provide a one-on-one setting that focuses on helping you understand yourself better and address specific challenges. My approach is centered on exploring your unique experiences, emotions, and behaviors to develop personalized coping strategies and support your overall well-being. Whether you're navigating mental health issues, personal growth, or seeking a more fulfilling life, I use evidence-based practices tailored to your needs. For neurodivergent individuals, I emphasize understanding and embracing neurodiversity while focusing on strengths and improving daily function. I integrate your interests to make sessions engaging and relevant. By valuing your voice and affirming your identity, I create a compassionate and supportive environment to help you achieve your goals and enhance your quality of life.
Child Therapy
Child therapy is tailored to support children through their emotional and developmental challenges. I use play, movement, music, and art to engage children and create a comfortable space for them to express themselves. If your child is neurodivergent, my focus is on helping them understand their unique differences, celebrate their strengths, and enhance their daily functioning. I prioritize valuing each child, giving them a voice, and affirming their identity.
I incorporate the child's interests into our sessions to build connections and support emotional regulation. I work collaboratively with parents to foster understanding and facilitate open communication between family members. We work together to ensure your child feels supported and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.
Couples Therapy
In couples therapy, I provide a supportive space for young adults to explore and address their unique challenges. My approach helps couples enhance mutual understanding, manage conflicts, and build a strong foundation together. I work with Gen Z couples, including those with one or both partners identifying as Latinx, to understand and navigate cultural dynamics. I also support Autistic, ADHD, and gifted couples in improving their relationship. Additionally, I offer guidance to couples working through issues related to shame & purity culture from a Christian perspective. Whether you're seeking premarital counseling or need support in your current relationship, my goal is to foster a deeper connection and mutual growth.
Teen Therapy
I help adolescents navigate the challenges of growing up by managing emotions, developing autonomy, and improving coping skills. My approach focuses on understanding why teens feel and behave the way they do, rather than just telling them what to do. I incorporate their interests, such as art and video games, to create a comfortable and engaging space for self-expression.
Confidentiality is a key aspect of my approach. I aim to create a safe environment where teens feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings. I encourage open communication with parents and facilitate discussions about sensitive topics. Before therapy begins, we will outline situations where confidentiality might be broken, ensuring that teens understand these boundaries while feeling respected and supported throughout their journey.
Family Therapy
Family therapy provides a safe and supportive space for families with children and adolescents to connect and better understand one another. My approach emphasizes recognizing and appreciating each family member's neurotype—whether ADHD, autistic, gifted, or other unique traits—while highlighting individual strengths and fostering a nurturing environment. We work together to enhance communication, build stronger relationships, and navigate challenges as a united team. By focusing on the specific needs and dynamics of families with children ages 3-25, particularly those with ADHD, my goal is to create a harmonious and resilient family dynamic that supports every member's growth and well-being.
